What is an FTP account?
FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol, a protocol best used worldwide for the transference and sharing of files (Data) on Internet at a faster speed.

What benefits do you get with an FTP Account?
You can upload your data on a FTP Account and download the same from anywhere around the world in just one click!

Temporary FTP accounts will be made available to facilitate the transfer of large files to/from IJA's Editor-in-Chief.

These temporary FTP accounts are protected by a username and password. The site administrator will create the username/password combination and make it available to the remote user needing to submit data.

Contact the IJA Managing Editor: Dr. Jackie Clark at her email address editor-ija@utdallas.edu to make arrangements for ftp access.

There are several different ways to access an FTP account.
If you are familar with Fetch (a Mac ftp software) or WS FTP you can use any of these programs to access the IJA's FTP account. But, you will need to have the host address and an assigned username/password combination which can be provided by the site administrator.

The Easiest Way To Access the FTP ACCOUNT:
To access IJA's FTP account open your Internet Explorer Web Browser and in the address box type: ftp://www.internationaljournalofaudiology.com
Enter your assigned FTP account username and password when prompted.

Once you have opened the FTP window you can drag and drop files between this and other windows on your desktop. The cut and paste method also works if you prefer to do that.
